Multifamily NW Bylaws
3.3.4 The applicant, and in the case where the applicant is an entity, the entity itself or one or more of its owners, directors, officers, members or agents must meet the following additional qualifications:
3.3.4.1 Subscribe to and adhere to the Association’s Code of Ethics in for from time to time;
3.3.4.2 Their or its personal and business activity must not reflect any conduct which had the applicant been a member of the Association, would have brought upon the Association and disrepute, ill-will, or lowering of the esteem in which the Association is held; and
3.3.4.3 Their or its personal and business activity must foster and promote public respect for the rental housing industry.
3.4 ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION OF APPLICATION
Association membership begins upon approval of the application by the Board of Directors. Applications may be rejected for failure to meet any criteria set forth in these Bylaws, or for any other good cause as determined by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will consider new applications within 90 days after receipt by the Association, which time period may be extended by the Association’s president, vice president or executive director for good cause. Failure of the Board of Directors to approve or reject an application within the applicable time person will be deemed an acceptance. Between the date of receipt of an application for membership and approval or rejection of such application, the applicant may receive member pricing on classes, products and services but may not otherwise exercise any rights as a member. Any application which is rejected may be resubmitted after the expiration of six months following rejection.
