A Letter from Gov. Kotek on Rehousing Initiatives

Multifamily NW has been working closely with Gov. Kotek’s office to increase the number of Oregonians that can benefit from existing rehousing programs. In that spirit, the governor has written a message directly to you, our members.

We understand that local rehousing initiatives have had mixed success in the past, for a variety of significant reasons. After many meetings with the governor and her staff in recent weeks, Multifamily NW is confident that these new initiatives will be more successful for all stakeholders.

Therefore, we join the Governor in encouraging each and every Multifamily NW member to reach out to your local landlord liaison to understand how you can help us in our effort to make sure every Oregonian has a roof over their head.

We understand that this request may raise some questions. That is why Multifamily NW partnered with Oregon Housing and Community Services to host a one-hour webinar detailing how these rehousing dollars are available, and how housing providers can participate in these programs.
