Farewell Letter from Deborah Imse
Dear Members and Supporters of Multifamily NW,
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement as the Executive Director after 23 remarkable years with this incredible organization. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated individuals who have contributed immensely to the growth and success of Multifamily NW.
When I reflect on the journey we’ve shared, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the collective effort that has transformed this association. From its humble beginnings as a local organization, we have grown together into a statewide entity, representing a staggering 275,000 rental housing units. This growth stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of our Board, committee members, staff, and every member who has played a part in this journey.
Together, we have forged Multifamily NW into the primary voice for the rental housing community. The impact of our advocacy, the strength of our partnerships, and the unity within our organization have positioned us as a beacon in this industry, advocating for our members' interests and fostering a thriving rental housing environment.
As I step into the next chapter of my life, I do so with a sense of fulfillment knowing that Multifamily NW is in incredibly capable hands. I have full confidence in Gary's leadership and the outstanding Multifamily NW team. The passion, dedication, and expertise they bring to the table assure me that the organization will continue to flourish and exceed expectations under their guidance.
My time with Multifamily NW has been nothing short of remarkable. The memories, the challenges overcome, and the relationships formed will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am filled with both nostalgia and excitement as I watch from the sidelines, eager to witness the continued growth and success of this remarkable organization.
To the Board, committee members, staff, and general members, I extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, dedication, and tireless efforts. It has been an incredible journey, and I am profoundly thankful for each one of you.
As I bid farewell, I do so with a sense of pride in all that we have accomplished together and an immense sense of hope for the future of Multifamily NW.
With warm regards and gratitude,
Deborah
