Career Development Committee Volunteer Spotlight: Sarah Vail of Jennings Group, Inc.
Welcome to Multifamily NW's Volunteer Spotlight video series! Southern Willamette Valley Council Member Sarah Vail was so kind to sit down with Gary Fisher of Background Investigations, Inc. and share her professional journey in the industry. She also detailed some of the recent successes in the Southern Willamette Valley's community advocacy with their steady volunteerism over the years. Last year, the School of Hope community service project completed by the Southern Willamette Valley Council and volunteers was a crown achievement, fueled by the momentum and partnerships they've garnered from their celebrated annual volunteer days of service.
Sarah's inspiring story can strike a familiar cord with many housing-related peers. Often it can be the case for industry professionals that property management finds them first, before they could seek out property management careers. This industry prizes dedication and hard work. Moving up the ranks in the apartment industry from leasing agent to community manager and beyond is an accessible and rewarding upward track that a great many have accomplished!
